Well, honestly, I have nothing to write about.
But in the interest of keeping posts going daily…
Here I am.
Oh! I could talk about Viva La Vida. That’s a pretty good album, from the snatches I could hear over the sounds of food cooking in the kitchen. My mom has fallen in love with Coldplay and finally (finally!) decided to buy the CD. I swear, it took her weeks (has it even been out that long?) to finally buy it, although, in her defense, it was hard to find for a while.
Anyway, it’s pretty good. Very strange, but hey, that’s Coldplay. Some songs would be very, very mellow and slow and relaxing. And then, all of a sudden, here comes this faster song (nowhere near Dragonforce-fast, mind you, but fast for Coldplay) with what I can only identify as an electric guitar (Coldplay?!? Electric Guitar?!?) and it makes for a very pleasant and eclectic album. Very experimental in my mind. My favorite song is still the title song, “Viva La Vida”, but it’s the only one I’ve heard in it’s entirety.
